Pursuit of happiness

Much of our lives are spent chasing happiness through pleasure and success. However, we often fail to realize that each time we indulge in a particular pleasure, the joy we gain from it diminishes. Similarly, when we reach a new milestone, the joy we experience is often fleeting, leaving us wanting more. This pattern leads us into an endless pursuit of happiness.
Christ would say, “Work towards the kingdom of heaven, and everything else will be added unto you.” Remember, “Everything you need is already within you; you just need the strength to make it all a reality.”

If wealth is the secret to happiness, the rich should dance in the streets. Yet, it’s often the poor kids who do that. If power guarantees security, then officials should be able to walk unguarded. However, those who have a rustic life get sound sleep at night.
And if beauty and fame lead to ideal relationships, then celebrities should have the best marriages.

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be constrained by dogma, which means living according to the beliefs of others. Don’t let the opinions of others drown out your inner voice. Most importantly, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition; they often know what you want to become.” – Steve Jobs.

Sometimes, you may feel unsatisfied with your life, while many others dream of living your life. A child on a farm watches a plane fly overhead and dreams of flying one day. Meanwhile, the pilot in that plane looks down at the farmhouse and dreams of returning home.

Happiness is not about fulfilling every desire or achieving every outcome you want. Instead, it is the ability to enjoy life with a peaceful mind, free from constant cravings for more. True happiness comes from finding inner peace and embracing change.
